Mystery Shannon Brown Line

The “Mystery Shannon Brown” line animals I’m working with came to me via Bob Ashley (NARBC/Chiricahua Desert Museum). The parents were produced by Michael Roscoe, with the original animals coming from the famous Shannon Brown. What’s unique about these animals is that they don’t 100% key as stuarti and don’t appear to be any of the current lines of stuarti well known in the hobby such as Sardinal, La Gartia, etc. To me these animals appear to be from an intergrade one between hondurensis and stuarti in the northwestern corner of Costa Rica. No one can tell at this point, but I’ll keep digging. These highly active snakes are a favorite in the collection.
